Several AMBA members recognized at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival
The Great American Beer Festival (GABF), held in Denver, Colorado, is the largest professional beer competition in the U.S. - awarding gold, silver, and bronze across 100+ beer and cider categories. This year, over 8,300 entries were judged by 250 volunteers. To receive a gold, an entry must be: “A world-class beer that accurately exemplifies the specified style, displaying the proper balance of taste, aroma and appearance.”
In addition to category style awards, longtime AMBA member, Allagash Brewing Co. and their Allagash Team out of Portland, Maine, was awarded the Brewery Group Brewery and Brewer of the Year award recognizing their excellence in the beers they submitted into the competition, including two gold medals.
