Barley groups urge the Administration to protect crop insurance from harmful cuts
The American Malting Barley Association (AMBA) and the National Barley Improvement Committee (NBIC) has signed onto a letter of support, along with 60+ other organizations, to urge the Administration from making cuts in their FY25 budget to crop insurance programs. Crop insurance is a farmer's first line of defense against climate change and other disasters and serves as the primary safety net for growers. You can read the full letter here.
