It is with great excitement that we announce the 5th annual Great Lakes Hop and Barley Conference will be held February 28th-March 2nd, 2019 at the Park Place Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Traverse City Michigan! This year, we are holding a pre-conference for hop and barley beginners on February 28th, and separate advanced hop and barley tracks on March 1st.  March 2nd will feature a dynamic general session including a presentation by world-renowned pioneer of cover cropping and soil microbial science, Dr. George Bird (MSU), a sensory training session with Roy Desrochers (Tufts University) and afternoon tours of MI Local Hops and Great Lakes Malting Co.  For more information, or to register, visit the conference website.
